Sample Property Registration Forms

Each property nominated to the National Historic Register, either as an individual building or as part of a district, must have an accompanying National Historic Register Registration Form to provide consistent information for evaluation. The form includes several parts, including an architectural description, a case for historical significance and integrity, historical uses of the property, plat maps showing location, floor plan of each level, historical and current photos, and a complete bibliography of the resources used to compile the form.

Here are a few sample of the forms created for the Historic Courthouse District. Over 100 forms were completed for buildings under evaluation, with 78 included in the final nomination.
